Welcome to The Core

Welcome to the Core. The Core began as a research project, and later a book by the same name, that examined several of the most famous landmarks in Toronto’s downtown core. What distinguished these landmarks from many others, however, is that each is believed to be haunted.

The book and this website are meant to be different from the usual collection of ‘true’ ghost stories since they do not argue the case for or against the existence of ghosts. Instead, I have chosen to let you decide for yourself. The motivation behind this project is to document. As for belief? You’ll have to decide that for yourself as well.

As I have explored the world of the supernatural, I have become increasingly fascinated by what these phenomena reveal about our true nature and the greater reality of which we are a part. This website is a product of this fascination
